Thrifty Opinions...

There's a program done here in Alabama called Grow Alabama. It seems like a great idea - it's all locally grown and delivered weekly. Anyhow - if you get a chance - check it out and let me know what you think.
Seems convenient - since the farmer's market is about 25 minutes away, and we really don't have any great road-side stands nearby. Just thought I'd try to grab a few opinions from you seasoned, professional money savers:)
Thanks!
M

  1. I love CSA's! It is usually a good deal especially if you buy organic. It's great because you are getting super fresh produce which in turns means more nutrients and better taste. Most produce in stores spends a lot of time traveling and sitting on the shelf. You can probably find other stuff cheaper it's just what is important to you. If you get it you will probably have the chance to try a lot of new recipes and veges...i think they usually include recipes.
