Registering...should come with an Encyclopedia

Aaron and I registered on Saturday! It was so much fun - even Aaron enjoyed it. We laughed a lot - joked a lot and really could have used an encyclopedia to understand what all these "registry necessities" are for! We started a registry at:

Babies R Us

Target

Pottery Barn Kids

We divided up the tasks - Baby Zakeri and I were in charge of the list...and Aaron was in charge of the scanner... We registered for one of everything - 2 of some things and lots of diapers. Some of the things that we scanned we aren't really sure what they are for - but they did seem pretty cool!

What else could complete the registering experience besides a Chick-Fil-A Cookies & Cream Milkshake? Which I specially requested and Aaron didn't want ANY of...well - as you can see...

And by the way - he was driving down the interstate at this point (note the fast moving cars in the background) Living on the edge people - Drinking (or should I say crunching) and driving!

We decided on bedding which my sweet mom is giving us...it's here.

It just seemed perfect for the little guy - and Aaron agreed! I can't wait to see it in person - pick-out some paint and get that little room ready! Hope you had a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Baby Zakeri is moving around so much. He still amazes me! Every night when I lay down, Aaron can feel him move – and talks to him. I think it’s so precious!

Love to shop - gotta sell!

So I love to shop. But not just any shopping. I really like finding great deals - things that are on clearance that used to be expensive, and I love shopping fo other people. I wish I could shop more for me...but maybe one day! Recently I have been finding great deals then selling them on ebay to make a little extra cash. It's SO much fun to watch people bid on your items - then to see them SELL! Here's what I have listed now...

17 Weeks Down!

Here's me and the little guy at 17 weeks (I know - cheesy smile, but it was late!) It's hard to believe that 17 weeks have gone by - it really has been fast, and I still have so much reading and planning to do - which I plan on reading like 100 books over spring break!

I found this bedding online! What do you think? It's my favorite so far - even though owning it would require robbing a bank:) I just love the bright colors and the lack of a particular "theme" It's back-ordered till April - so there must be some other moms-to-be out there that like it too!

In OTHER news...this is Kirby...

He lives next door with the Herrings. He's was probably born before me. But the great thing is - that when the 2008 born, Hoover Windtunnel Mach 5 doesn't work - Kirby works like a charm! I ordered new belts for my vacuum (that doesn't work) over a month ago - and they are still not here. SHOCKER! And Hoover doesn't answer the phone or return my e-mails. Should have bought a Dyson - right? Needless to say - that was my last Hoover purchase ever...and I am spreading the word (it makes me feel better).

Tonight I looked through my grocery receipts from last month - much to my surprise - by couponing, timing the BOGO's and planning my grocery trips, we saved over $160.00. That's just too cool to me! Something I thought I could never do actually worked! So - I'll keep clipping!

Let it Snow!

I woke up this morning to my sweetie saying - "hey babe, guess what, it's snowing outside" I was out of bed in approx 3 seconds. Yeah - that's right - we actually saw snow in Alabama this weekend. It was so pretty - and so much fun to play in. I broke-out my ski pants - which don't button anymore - and my warmest coat to enjoy part of the day outside!

Aaron took this pic early in the morning...I think it's SO pretty!!

I told Aaron he should wake me up every morning and tell me that it's snowing outside - that was a great way to start the day! I am so glad we got to get out and enjoy it! It's all melted not, but I guess that's an Alabama snow-day for ya!
